Making the Familiar Unfamiliar
Print, Photography, Language - Poems, Art Direction
A series of postcards were created to tell a personal story of experiences, travel journey, movements, and experiencing moments at a place. Postcards act as a form of souvenir, something tangible, and showing how experiences shape us for who we are. Slowing down moments from our busy lives which we go by unnoticed, restoring human experiences which are lost in today's technological world. Seeing the ordinary differently and to start appreciating our surroundings.
The photographs have been kept black and white to keep the viewer engaged allowing them to pay close attention and details to the mundane ordinary.
