This book talks about the subway system in the world's biggest city - New York. The history of the New York City subway and the various phases that have led to its present-day working. The design choices that were made since the past and its evolution. Typography and color system is the core, the standard use of Helvetica which then became used popularly worldwide. The page numbers on the book relate to the number name of the subway station. On these pages, there is an abstract representation of the tracks and the subway routes through spacing, lines, and colors. The colors are chosen based on the color of the most popular train in that station. The placement of the text has been done to represent the train tracks.
